Hire Type

All rentals are via a simple licence arrangement and at the end of any of the monthly terms that you may commit to, you may either vacate the unit or carry on using it at the same rate with the Licence reverting to a monthly rolling term; so all you need to do to terminate your Licence is to simply give us a month’s notice to quit.

Lighting

Provided in the yard on sensors for general illumination for access.

Hours of Access

The hours of access to the site are from 8am – 6pm 5 days a week standard, seven days per week 24/7 if you take the option for the security steel gate lock keys.

Security

The containers are fitted with high-security heavy-duty padlocks that are protected by a shrouded lock-box with the standard doors fitted to the smaller units fitted with anti-jemmy flanges and registered Euro-Locks. This gives you the peace of mind in knowing that no
previous occupant could have obtained a copy of the Unit key and retained it after handing the original in, as only we can obtain copies as the registered owner.

Insurance

The buildings/units are fully insured by us, although content insurance is not and is something you would currently have to obtain if you are not already covered for this under your business or Home Insurance policy, we do offer insurance cover for goods based on a provided value by the tenant.

VAT

Please note that as we are not registered for VAT all prices shown are the prices you would pay.

Payment Methods

Payment for the initial hire period plus the deposit is required in advance, with any further monthly payments made via a standing order mandate. Alternatively, you may wish to pay by cheque or cash, although payment via debit or credit card can be accepted via PayPal.

However, you need to be aware that (were you to hire a storage unit from us and wish to pay via debit/credit card) there would be a small additional charge on your invoice for this option to cover the charges that PayPal make to us: the cost of this can be provided once the hire term length has been determined. The way this would work is that once you request this, your monthly invoice would be prepared with the additional charge and a request to pay the amount due would be sent to the email address you would have to supply us. This would contain a link to the PayPal website, which on clicking would take you directly to their payment page for you to enter your card payment details to pay your hire charge.

Availability

We usually have a small number of units available in all 5 sizes. However, this situation changes regularly, so do please phone to check availability when and if you know you may need to use our storage facility so we can book 14 days in advance ideally.

Viewing & Booking

Please feel free to visit us for a no-obligation view of any of our units to assess suitability for your purposes. This can be quickly arranged for most times during the day or if easier for you, after work hours in the evening. Please just give us a ring or drop us a line to let us know when you might like to pop along to see us if this is the case. However, if after reading through all of these details, you are happy with the service we can provide, please email or phone us back with the date you wish to occupy together with your contact details (i.e. the name, address, phone and email details you would want to appear on the Licence) and we will complete the Licence(s) and email them back to you for you to check through and satisfy yourself with before you sign them.
